Die Oberfläche der Keysonic Tastatur ist mit einer speziellen Oberflächenversiegelung ausgestattet und weist daher eine gute mechanische und chemische Beständigkeit auf, so dass mit Standard Desinfektionsmitteln gearbeitet werden kann, ohne dass die Tasten ihre Beschriftung verlieren.
Das integrierte Touchpad ermöglicht den Einsatz der Keysonic Tastatur ohne externe, zusätzliche Maus. Dies ist sowohl ein Kosten- als auch ein praktischer Vorteil, Das Touchpad lässt sich sowohl mit als auch ohne Gummihandschuhe einwandfrei bedienen.
